Two teams aiming to clinch a top-four spot this season, Borussia Dortmund host Hoffenheim on Friday night.

Starting with the hosts, managing to get back to winning ways immediately last weekend, Borussia Dortmund know that stability is key for them this season. Picking up a hard-fought 1-0 win at Hertha Berlin last time out, head coach Edin Terzić couldn't have asked for a better response from him. However, opening the 2022/23 Bundesliga campaign with back-to-back wins over Bayer Leverkusen and Freiburg, Dortmund should also be boosted by their final encounters against Friday's guests. Including a 3-2 win in their last clash against Hoffenheim in January, they are unbeaten in their previous four encounters.

When it comes to the visitors, although Hoffenheim may hold a pessimistic record against German title contenders, they are in the midst of a veritable purple stain.
