Boris Johnson joins training of Ukrainian soldiers in UK

Boris Johnson can be seen throwing a dummy grenade as he watches Ukrainian troops train during a trip to a British Army base in North Yorkshire.

The Prime Minister donned full camouflage gear while taking part in the training exercise this week, during which he was shown how to use weapons.

Mr. Johnson tweeted: "This week I visited Ukrainian troops being trained by the British Armed Forces in North Yorkshire.

"The United Kingdom is determined to do everything in its power to help Ukraine continue to repel Russian aggression."

He posted a video showing him in action, watching the practice session.

"I just want you to know that the British people support the Ukrainian people and support you in your fight," he said in the video.

"And I absolutely believe that you can and will win."

In the video, Mr. Johnson explains that he met some of the 400 Ukrainian soldiers being trained at the base.
