Boris Johnson has mocked a fellow Tory who served as a minister in his cabinet in a 1,200-word rambling on diet drugs and Julius Caesar.
In his first article in his new newspaper column - believed to be part of a £1million deal - the ex-Prime Minister told a long story of how a Cabinet minister had " miraculously changed his appearance" when he lost weight.
He went on to say how strongly he suspected the minister – whom Mr Johnson chooses not to name – was going to try to run for leader of the Conservative Party.
It emerged earlier today that the disgraced ex-PM has landed a new job as a columnist for the Daily Mail - just days after stepping down as MP following a damning Partygate report.
Since then, the business appointments watchdog has said it made a 'clear breach' of the rules by not telling them about the job until half an hour before the public announcement. p>
The ex-Prime Minister is reportedly earning £1m over two years for his new role at the Daily Mail as he enjoys his disastrous time at No 10.
