Organizers have given the green light to a large number of revelers to leave the Burning Man festival in Nevada after the humid conditions eased.
They said people could start leaving the desert site at noon (19:00 GMT) but suggested waiting until Tuesday to avoid traffic jams.
Heavy rain had created a mud bath. Of some 72,000 people stranded, 62,000 were still there at midday.
Organizers also said a man's death on Friday was unrelated to weather conditions.
