Captain America: The New World Order Photos Show Liv Tyler's MCU Return

A number of photos from Captain America: New World Order have been uploaded, giving fans their first look at Liv Tyler's return to the MCU while providing a bit of potential story information.< /p>

JustJared and various posts on Twitter show what appears to be a funeral scene from the upcoming Captain America sequel. Sam Wilson/Anthony Mackie's Captain America is present and looks hurt, as the character has his left arm in a sling.

Also present at the funeral was Betty Ross of Liv Tyler. Tyler last appeared as a character in The Incredible Hulk in 2008, which she played opposite Edward Norton. No context was given regarding the identity of the burial seen in the photos, although the fact that Sam and Betty are present means it is likely someone who connects the two characters.

Captain America: New World Order will be directed by Julius Onah from a script written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, head writers of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The film features Mackie reprising his role as Sam Wilson, who has now officially taken on the role of the MCU's new Captain America.

Mackie will be joined by returning Falcon and Winter Soldier stars Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly, who again play the roles of Joaquin Torres and Isaiah Bradley, respectively, as well as MCU newcomer Shira Haas as Sabra.
