Carlos Alcaraz leaves ball child impressed days after Novak Djokovic behavior call

Alcaraz cemented his place at the top of the world rankings by defeating Djokovic in a thrilling five sets in SW19. The win secured the youngster's second Grand Slam, adding to last year's US Open.

He revealed before the Hopman Cup that he hadn't played tennis since Wimbledon. "To think I won Wimbledon is hard to believe. I can't believe I won and beat Novak, it will probably take a few days to believe it," Alcaraz said.

"Since Wimbledon I haven't touched the racket, today will be the first time. I'm a bit tired, I'm not going to lie. I had a few days off to rest a bit. I feel good at the moment. I'm here to make people happy by watching the match."
