Carlos Santana collapses on stage during a concert

A scary moment for Carlos Santana and his fans, as the legendary musician collapsed on stage during one of his concerts.

Santana was performing at the Pine Knob Music Theater near Detroit on Tuesday night when an onlooker told us the medical emergency had occurred. We are told that Santana was on 4 or 5 songs in her set and started singing a song called "Joy".

Realizing something was wrong, we are told that Santana sat down in front of the drums, then collapsed backwards. From there, many staff including paramedics rushed to his aid.

You can see in the video of the show, a black tarp was pulled out to protect Santana while the officials worked on him.

Luckily, Santana came back and was seen waving to the crowd as he exited the stage.

It is currently unknown what caused Carlos to collapse, but it appears that he was taken to hospital for further evaluation.
