Cboe Files 5 Bitcoin ETFs Again to Include Coinbase Oversight Agreements

Surveillance sharing agreements are a measure recommended by the SEC in March, which says they can prevent fraud and protect investors .

Exchange operator Cboe Global Markets has amended five Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded fund (ETF) applications to include a Supervisory Sharing Agreement (SSA) with Coinbase.

On July 11, Cboe amended filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for ETFs from Invesco, VanEck, WisdomTree, Fidelity and the mutual fund of ARK Invest and 21Shares.

Cboe said it had "reached a terms agreement with Coinbase" to complete the SSAs which settled on June 21. Initial filings for ETFs indicated that the parties "expected to enter into" an SSA before potentially offering the ETF.
