Chris Pincher's alleged victim tells how he 'froze' when MP 'touched his groin'

One of two men who were allegedly groped by Tory Whip Chris Pincher has told how he ‘froze’ when the MP touched his butt and groin at a glitzy private club.

The 20-year-old said the decision not to suspend or sanction Mr Pincher initially left him "furious" and "shocked".

Wednesday was the first time he met Mr. Pincher. The evening began with a chat about a mutual friend at Club Carlton, a conservative bar in central London.

He said there was "nothing wrong" at first, but later "I had my drink in my hand, then he came down and grabbed my ass.

"And then slowly… moved his hand to the front of my groin.

"I froze for a bit and it ended after about two or three seconds. It was a very weird thing."

The Mirror has contacted Mr Pincher and his lawyers to comment on the new remarks. He has never denied claims he 'groped' two men at the Carlton club on Wednesday.

The incident led to Mr. Pincher resigning as Deputy Chief Whip on Thursday evening.

But it took nearly 24 more hours to suspend him from the Tory Whip, after a complaint was lodged with the Independent Parliament on Complaints and Grievances.

The complaint is currently being investigated and Mr Pincher - who now sits as an independent MP - said he was receiving "professional medical support".

The 20-something man said Sarah Dines, a toy whip he told about the incident, asked him if he was gay.

"I was a bit taken aback by that and said, 'What does that have to do with it? But yes, I am,' he told The Sunday Times. not make it simple.'”

It is understood that Ms Dines checked all the circumstances, including whether the two men had a previous relationship, and then reported the incident to her superiors.
