Ciara dances over power lines and cars in nostalgic 'Jump' music video

On July 8, Ciara released her new single "Jump", accompanied by an electrifying music video with an impressive array of visuals, choreography and outfits. The dance track, which is her first in two years, took us back to old-school early 2000s Ciara a la "Goodies" and "1, 2 Step."

Featuring hip-hop group Coast Contra, the video begins with Ciara as a cheerleader, dancing as part of Winston-Salem State University's famed Powerhouse team. The energy only gets better from there – the singer is seen dancing in too many scenes to count, including power lines, rooftops, moving trains and the bonnet of a car in 14 looks different. From a cheer uniform and various swimsuits to a Janet Jackson-inspired ensemble, Ciara has truly outdone herself.

The lead single from her eighth album, "Jump" is also Ciara's first project under her new contract with Republic Records and Uptown Records, in partnership with her own company, Beauty Marks Entertainment. Although the artist has not officially released music in a while, a few weeks ago she released a special family-inspired song with her children, Future, 8, and Sienna, 5, with Kellogg's. Rice Krispies Treats. Check out Ciara's new music video above.
