Cocktail of the week: Lost & Found strawberry candy – recipe | The right blender

This is a favorite of our bartenders and guests. Licor 43 is a very smooth, vanilla Spanish liqueur with a hint of citrus, and it works wonderfully here with sweet strawberry and a hint of tart lemon, and perfect for sipping in the late summer sun.

Strawberry Candy

For 1

30ml vodka – we use Stolichnaya30ml strawberry puree – Funkin is our favorite 15ml Licor 43 (or vanilla syrup, which has a similar flavor profile, although this would, of course, reduce the overall alcohol content of the drink) 15ml strawberry syrup - we use Monin8ml fresh lemon juice 50ml sparkling water, to garnish 2 strawberry candies, to garnish (optional)

Fill a stemless wine glass or tumbler with ice to chill it well. Put the vodka, strawberry puree, Licor 43, strawberry syrup and lemon juice in a shaker filled with ice, then shake vigorously for about 20 seconds, to make sure everything is well mixed. Pour into glass filled with ice, top with soda, garnish with sweets and enjoy.
