Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has publicly responded to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) lawsuit against his company, saying in a tweet that the team is "confident in our facts and the law” and that she welcomes the chance “to finally get some clarification on the cryptography rules” in court.

The SEC filed a lawsuit against crypto exchange Coinbase on June 6, alleging the company operated a stock exchange, brokerage, and clearinghouse without registering with the commission.
