A couple have been shocked after their romantic wedding recital was ruined by none other than a grizzly bear - which was captured attacking and eating a nearby moose calf.

The couple's mood completely changed when they saw what was happening behind them in Glacier National Park in Montana.

One lucky Stanton Giles, a wedding videographer, managed to capture the graphic footage on camera and post it to his YouTube channel.

Since its publication on August 18, it has been viewed almost 10,000 times.

In the incredible footage, the camera focuses on the groom as he says his vows. Suddenly, a strangled cry is heard in the distance.

The camera then cuts and pans to show a bear on top of a moose calf, kicking but to no avail.

Stanton continues to film the footage for several minutes as the couple and guests comment on what is happening before their eyes.

YouTubers started commenting - completely mesmerized that the cameraman was able to capture such an event.
