Craig Overton: England all-rounder extends Somerset deal until 2026

The 28-year-old has played over 200 games for Somerset, scoring over 3,800 runs and taking over 500 wickets.

Overton joined the club's academy as a teenager and made his debut in 2012.

The designer made the first of his eight Test match appearances for England in 2017, at the Ashes in Australia.

"He is consistently among the best players in the domestic game, and it has been rightly rewarded by international recognition," said the manager of cricket for Somerset. Andy Hurry said.

"He's a true match-winner in all formats of the game."< / p>

Overton, who also played seven one-day internationals for England, said to himself " delighted" to sign a long-term extension with the club.

"Much remains to be done, including the Holy Grail of a County Championship title", said Overton.
