A man shot his daughter twice, packed her body in a suitcase and then threw it away with the help of the girl's mother after arguing over her choice of husband, police say .

Nine days before his 22nd birthday, Aayushi Chaudhary's body was cremated in the presence of police.

Police say the murder was committed by his father at a house in Badarpur, Delhi. Police arrested his parents, Nitesh Kumar Yadav and Brajbala and treated it as an "honor killing".

Aayushi Chaudhary should have celebrated his 22nd birthday on December 1st.
