Damien Hirst began burning hundreds of his own works after selling a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The artist told buyers who purchased pieces from his latest collection to choose either the physical work or the NFT that depicts it.
Those who chose NFTs were told that their corresponding physical coin would be destroyed. better than I expected."
