Dan Levy talks about D.L. Glasses at JW Anderson

'Schitt's Creek' star Dan Levy is rebooting the eyewear brand DTC D.L. founded ten years ago.

He had to put the mark on hold during the filming of the Canadian television sitcom, created by him and his father Eugène Lévy. But as the show ended in 2020, he's ready to pursue his passion for fashion once again.

Levy tapped Elena Doukas, who was previously design director at Garrett Leight California Optical for 11 years, as co-creative director and president last year to help manage the brand.

On Saturday afternoon, D.L. Eyewear unveiled its first eyewear collaboration with the LVMH award winner from this year, S.S. Daley at the brand's Spring 2023 fashion show, where Levy was present, wearing an oversized green trench coat with waterfowl designs from the brand's Fall 2022 collection.

Later that evening at the JW Anderson show, Levy explained why he chose to collaborate with S.S. Daley.

"This is very special because it involves a lot of people who I care about very much," said the star who will star in “The Idol,” an unscripted show coming to HBO Max in November.

Levy was also impressed that Jonathan Anderson decided to do the show at Las Vegas Arcade Soho right next to the brand store,

"It's amazing. These slots work," said Levy, who wore a sweater rose by JW Anderson with a drawing by Rembrandt on the front.

It also seems that attending fashion shows isn't the only reason he's in London.

"I'm working on something very fun and exciting here, but I can't speak in a manner very specific on that. Fashion is involved, but I wish I could tell you more,” Levy teased.
