Danielle Deadwyler on a new poster + second trailer for the movie 'Till'

Till Movie Trailer #2

"This smell is my son's body, reeking of racial hatred, now I want America to bear witness." UA + Orion Pictures + MGM have released a second trailer for the film known as Till, telling the story of Emmett Till's lynching and his mother's fight for justice. A sad story, but one that needs to be told. Discover the untold story of Grandma Till-Mobley's quest for justice for her son, Emmett. Till was abducted, tortured and lynched in Mississippi in 1955 at the age of 14. Filmmaker Chinonye Chukwu refuses to show this brutality, instead focusing on the love story between a mother and her son. This recently premiered at the New York Film Festival to rave reviews. The film stars Danielle Deadwyler as Granny, Jalyn Hall as Emmett, along with Frankie Faison, Haley Bennett and Whoopi Goldberg. I haven't even seen it yet, but I can say Deadwyler is giving one of the best performances of the year. All of the reviews so far confirm that she's a highlight of the fall movie season. Even though it is a tragic and moving story, it still feels like a thought-provoking movie.

Here is the second official trailer (+ new poster) for Till by Chinonye Chukwu, on MGM's YouTube:
