US data transfer network Plaid has added four major cryptocurrency exchanges to its platform, making it easier for users to connect their digital asset wallets to other apps.

The Binance.US, Gemini, Robinhood and SoFi crypto platforms are now supported by the Plaid network, the company announced on Thursday. Support for additional platforms, such as Blockchain.com and BitGo, is expected to begin later this year.

The integrations are intended to help crypto users "close the data portability gap" by allowing them to securely share their account information with other apps and services. Information such as assets held, balances and transactions can now be shared with other services to get a more complete picture of one's personal finances.
