Dave rapped on stage with a delighted fan while becoming the youngest headliner of Leeds Festival on Saturday.

"I feel like I should share this moment with one of you for the last time," the 24-year-old Londoner said.

He then brought in an energetic young Merseysider, to viral sensation Alex from Glastonbury he several years ago, to perform the track Thiago Silva.

Previously, American star Megan Thee Stallion invited "sexy girls and guys" from the audience for a dirty dance.

The Texas hip-hop sensation also made history by becoming the event's first black female co-headliner. .

Dave is a born storyteller and clearly now made for the main stage.

He arrived wearing a matching green tank top and shorts, with a "Psycho" cap and backed by a marching band with strings and brass added, located behind a large metal dome, it began to speak its truth.

"It's been a long road," he said. "I want to take you guys on a trip."

Funky Saturday

Only stopping briefly due to a safety issue in the crowd, he coldly performed songs from his Mobo recent award-winning record We're All Alone in this Together, one of the best-selling albums of the year, which tackles themes of loneliness, mental health and racism in the Kingdom UK.

As well as material from his Brit Award and Mercury Prize-winning album Psychodrama (hence the cap), which explores the issues to the bereavement, domestic violence and incarceration of his brother.
