Davido's twins: Afrobeats star describes having 'beautiful' babies one year after son's death

Nigerian megastar Davido describes welcoming “beautiful” twins a year later the tragic death of his three-year-old son.

Davido's wife Chioma Rowland gave birth to a boy and a girl this week, the musician said at a conference in New York.

The couple's late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, died last October after drowning in a swimming pool.

On Saturday, Davido said his Faith and loved ones helped him through his grief.

He told an audience at UnitedMasters SelectCon event in New York: "A lot of people these things happen to - you would never believe in God in your life."

The singer of Afrobeats, known for global hits like Unavailable and Fall, continued: "But to still have the faith, to still be able to do what I love, to have a great team around me and just to focus... I I'm almost to the finish line and that's something I want people to see."
