Diddy opened his wallet this weekend to support black entrepreneurs and creatives during his time in the Atlanta area — and he did so with a 7-figure amount that is sure to have a huge impact.

The media mogul was in town over the weekend, stopping for the first time at an event called Invest Fest - hosted by the Earn Your Leisure network, which provides a platform for black creators and venture capitalists emerging - where Diddy was front and center answering questions.

While there, he made a big announcement...Diddy is launching an investment fund with EYL executives -- founders Rashad Bilal/Troy Millings -- to immediately launch financial strategies...this which will no doubt help their growing user base. and a vast list of talents.

Diddy says, "I am thrilled to join forces with Earn Your Leisure. We are moving beyond the discussion of finances and taking steps to demystify the world of investing for our community." He also said that all resulting profits will be donated to his 3 charter schools on the East Coast.

As we said, the fund will fund educational tools and resources that will teach young black investors how to properly diversify their portfolios and how to get their business off the ground...so it's a great cause. Diddy didn't stop there, though... he donated another million.

He also stopped by the launch of the MEAC-SWAC Challenge Cricket in the ATL and delivered on a pledge he made last year...by donating $1 million to Jackson State University Football, which will be distributed over the years. in regular installments.
