DL1961 presents the Reform Capsule Collection

DL1961 launched a Reform Capsule collection, consisting of basic layering pieces that range in price from $125 to $208.

The men's capsule releasing this month and September features new silhouettes including relaxed tapered jeans in a number of washes with unique distressed details, straight leg jeans and cargo pants and jeans wide-legged to complement its selection of jackets and shirts from rinsed indigo coated denim and distressed denim jackets, and utility vests. Additionally, the capsule is made from at least 20% recycled cotton fibers and is produced in a facility that uses waterless laser and ozone technologies and solar energy.

The Reform Capsule collection accompanies the DL1961 Fall 2022 range which includes a shirt jacket in a dark rinse made from recycled cotton fibers and styles made in a new DL Hybrid fabrication also introduced this season.

Co-founder and creative director Sarah Ahmed tapped Mel Ottenberg and photographer Sinna Nasseri for the marketing campaign.

"This season, we wanted to capture the frenetic yet harmonic post-pandemic city of New York," Ahmed said. “This juxtaposition is what makes New York City one of the most exciting places to live, and a center of inspiration, rebirth and reinvention. The versatility of denim pairs well with the chaos and individuality of New York. - Yorkers driving this change. For the first time in decades, people are experiencing their denim in ways we've never seen before. From texture to fit to gender fluidity, everyone has a unique twist on this universal uniform. We wanted our Fall 2022 campaign to reflect these changes, and we knew Mel Ottenberg of Interview magazine would be the perfect creative partner to bring our vision to life."
