Rapper Drill Gets Court Date in Drug Case

Prominent rapper to appear in court for drug charges following police raid during online performance.

Drill artist Digga D - real name Rhys Herbert - was arrested near Lincoln early on February 21.

Lincoln Crown Court heard the west London rapper, 23, from Lonsdale Road, Notting Hill, was broadcasting on Instagram Live when he was arrested.

He was charged in connection with the supply and importation of cannabis.< /p>

The rapper, currently on remand at Wormwood Scrubs Prison, was excused from attending a pre-trial hearing at the Crown Court on Wednesday.

Judge Simon Hirst adjourned the case for a plea and trial preparation hearing on May 3.

The police raid took place in Bracebridge Heath, near Lincoln, the court heard.
