A driver rammed into a large group of Jair Bolsonaro demonstrators protesting the presidential victory of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in Sao Paulo.

Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has been named Brazil's new president after narrowly defeating incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro.

Protests have taken place across the country since, with supporters of the latter refusing to accept the result.

Bolsonaro has still not conceded despite two million fewer votes than his rival. Even when he addressed the media for the first time since the election, he avoided declaring that he had lost and also refused to condemn those protesting the result.
