Droughts across the UK risk creating a 'dust bowl', UK Labor have warned, as the party demands urgent COBRA meetings to resolve the issue.

As droughts have been declared in several parts of the country and extreme heat warnings have been issued, Deputy Labor Party Leader Angela Rayner has called on the Prime Minister to step in and take action.

Boris Johnson made a rare appearance at a meeting this week with energy bosses, but has so far failed to act to help the country amid the current heatwave or provide further aid for the cost of living crisis.

Since announcing his intention to step down, he has been criticized for leading a "zombie government" that has failed to act as the country faces mounting crises.

Such is the concern over the very dry weather, it has been reported that farmers' yields could be significantly affected this year and in the future.
