East Los Angeles College became a band of the future in 2020 - then COVID changed all of our destinies.
Well, the ELAC Huskies and head hoops instruct John Mosley are back - as are Greg Whiteley's cameras for Season 2 of the Netflix sports documentary series "." The second season of Whiteley's JUCO football docuseries spin-off "Last Chance U" will premiere December 13 on the streaming provider. Netflix released a trailer on Tuesday; test it below.
Beyond Mosley, you won't see many familiar faces in the preview. That's sort of the nature of junior varsity sports status — or at least it's a long way off if all goes according to the plot. But before desires for a change of leader can take place, talented players, many of whom have lost Division I scholarships for behavioral and/or educational reasons, will try to gel enough to win a championship. As long as a global pandemic doesn't get involved.
