2022 EMMYS PREDICTIONS: OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT FOR A LIMITED SERIES OR TV MOVIE

REWARDS PREDICTION COMMENT:

Hiro Murai, "Wheel of Fire" - "Station Eleven" (HBO)

The momentum of HBO's "Station Eleven" has accelerated and created surprises both in the director category and with lead man Himesh Patel being mentioned. With Murai's dual name and "Atlanta," voters may be more inclined to check off his name.

Danny Strong, "The People vs. Purdue Pharma" - "Dopesick" (Hulu)

A former winner of 'Game Change' (2012), Strong is an Academy favorite, as evidenced by his three nominations for 'Dopesick'. It feels like he should walk away with at least one of the trophies, and this seems like the perfect place to reward drama.

Mike White - Series - "The White Lotus" (HBO)

Taking care of an entire series is not easy. Former "Amazing Race" and "Survivor" contestant Mike White, who also wrote the anthology, is the only one on the roster with those credentials. Also, a lighter selection for the TV Academy to make, he could be a slam dunk winner in prospect.
