Etihad Airways' new business class is designed by Armani/Casa

FLYING ARMANI: If flying business class with Etihad Airways was already a premium experience, wait till you see this the result will be with a complete refurnishing by Armani/Casa.

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates has unveiled its first luxury collaboration with Armani/Casa, which will be inaugurated on board in December.

The new look, named "The Constellation Collection", is inspired by stars and designed with Giorgio Armani.

In addition to seating and furnishings, the partnership will include cutlery and serving platters, all labeled Armani/Casa in airline business class.

The collection uses fine textiles and is inspired by the color palette that reflects the surroundings of Abu Dhabi; dark green is reminiscent of the region's date palms, aquamarine represents the color of the mangroves, and slate gray is found in the Abu Dhabi skyline.

In addition, the new design includes a matching pillowcase and bedding set with patterns and Armani/Casa signed guests on longer flights, you'll benefit from the airline's innovative new memory foam mattress.

The restyling has been designed in line with Etihad's commitment to sustainability. The materials used have reduced the weight of the equipment by up to 10%, which reduces fuel consumption and emissions.

Etihad Airways is one of the world's leading airlines and one of two airlines in the United Arab Emirates. In 2018, the airline partnered with Acqua di Parma to offer its first class passengers an exclusive range of toiletries, such as body lotion, shower gel, hand cream, shampoo, conditioner and lip balm.
