Eurostar will cut direct trains from London to Disneyland Paris due to Brexit

Eurostar has decided to stop direct services from London to Disneyland Paris from next summer, citing the fallout from Brexit and Covid.

The high-speed train operator said on Tuesday it was cutting trains linking the British capital to the Disneyland site at Marne-la-Vallée, in the eastern suburbs of Paris.

"We have made the decision not to operate the Disney direct service...in the summer of 2023," he said. "As we continue to recover financially of the pandemic and to monitor the evolution of the proposed entry and exit system in the EU, we must focus on our main routes to ensure that we can continue to provide the high level of service and experience that our customers rightly expect. ”

Eurostar, which operates the train service from London to Paris and Brussels, added that it will review options for the Disney route for 2024 over the next year.
