Terry Kennedy, 29, was a teammate of England star Harry Maguire at Sheffield United before being forced into early retirement with a knee injury in 2016.

But after securing the life-changing victory last year, he quit his job as a builder and spent 12 months checking things off his bucket list with partner Kay Yoxall, 26.

Even before the couple had collected their winnings, they immediately flew to Tenerife and then headed to Dublin for a long weekend.

The lucky couple x quit his job and has been traveling ever since visiting amazing destinations such as Tokyo, New Zealand, Hawaii, Turkey and Italy.

Highlights of their travel year also include swimming with dolphins in Mexico and taking a helicopter ride in New York.

But their favorite trip so far has been a Caribbean cruise, which Kay described as "simply beautiful".
