F1 LIVE: Wolff told to tear up Russell's contract, Hill hits out at Verstappen's father

F1 analyst Peter Windsor has urged Toto Wolff to part ways with George Russell or sign the youngster to a new deal that puts Hamilton first.

The pundit says Mercedes 'didn't listen' to Hamilton who wanted to keep Valtteri Bottas in the team.

He said the German manufacturer shouldn't 'play' and stressed that every point will count in a title fight.

Windsor explained: "If I were recruited as a team principal at Mercedes now, I would say: 'George, here's the contract, it's now in two pieces.'

"If you want to keep driving smoothly, step on the dotted line here and you'll never finish ahead of Lewis Hamilton. Sorry'."
