The sun slips over the horizon and the Ionian Sea sparkles with the last of its rays as we let's look up from our table at the Alselea restaurant at Parga Beach Resort and witness a dramatic moment.

Of course, as we finished our entrees, they stand by the waters edge having an intense moment. We hold our breath. Then they kiss: it's a clear "yes" and the guests burst into applause.

"We get quite a few offers here," says Roi Ioannou, who runs the Parga Beach Resort with his brother Christos.
