Final 2022 Emmy Nomination Predictions: Which Actors and Series Will the Television Academy Adopt?

The ballots have been returned and the TV Academy is counting the votes. On July 12, nominations for the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced, with many surprises expected across all categories. Below are my latest Emmy predictions in selected categories. Scheduled top performers for series are - HBO's 'Succession' (25), Hulu's 'Only Murders in the Building' (21), HBO's 'The White Lotus' (16), 'Squid Game' by Netflix (14), HBO “Hacks” by Max (13), “Severance” by Apple TV+ (13), “Stranger Things” by Netflix (13), “Barry” by HBO (12), “Dopesick” by Hulu (10), Netflix's "Ozark" (10) and Apple TV+'s "Ted Lasso" (10).

Among the networks, HBO is expected to lead with 108 names, followed by Netflix (100), Apple TV+ and Hulu (with 49 each), ABC (36) and Disney+ (31).

Nominations will be announced on Tuesday, July 12. The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on Monday, September 12 and will air on NBC.
