First trailer for the premiere of the film "No Bears" by Jafar Panahi in Venice

No Bears Trailer

"Did you go to the border last night?" Celluloid Dreams has released an official trailer for Jafar Panahi's latest film titled No Bear, which will be released soon. Sadly, Panahi was recently arrested by the Iranian government after going to see his friend, another filmmaker also imprisoned under dubious allegations. No Bears premiered at the Venice Film Festival, TIFF and the New York Film Festival. "Panahi continues to push the boundaries of the medium with its latest film, involving two parallel love stories and the dire consequences that can come from seemingly insignificant artistic pursuits." It's clear from this trailer that the film also acts as a meta commentary on its own situation, unable to cross the line. "He feels trapped, without a future, without freedom and without work." The cast includes Panahi, Naser Hashemi, Vahid Mobaseri, Bakhtiyar Panjei, Mina Kavani and Reza Heydari. Get your first preview.
