Hamed Sabouri, 22, dreamed of becoming a doctor, but was brutally killed in August.

“Life is hell for all LGBT Afghans. Taliban terrorists are worse than wild animals,” Bahar said.

Bahar, who is a member of the burgeoning Afghan LGBTQ+ organization, the Behesht Collective, sadly deleted all evidence of Sabouri on his phone after learning of his murder, as he lives in fear of being arrested and searched by the Taliban.
