Google Stadia is expanding to new regions, according to a 9 to 5 Google ratio. The cyber sleuths there dug deep into the new software update and discovered a few interesting things.

Version 4.26 update rolls out a "Claim All" button. Like most subscription game streaming services, Stadia offers access to new titles every month. Stadia Pro subscribers, until now, had to manually accept each new offer, title by title.

So this is great news for anyone, like me, who doesn't have enough self-control to claim only what they want. If I see freedom, I must claim everything. It's a curse.

The new update also adds some language compatibility. Following the announcement a few months ago that Google Stadia would be available in Mexico, support for Mexican Spanish is being added to the platform. What's also added, however, is Spanish support for Latin America, as well as Spanish Caribbean support.

To be clear, there's no reason Mexicans, Latin Americans, or the Caribbean can't use Stadia before. It only depended on people speaking one of the already supported languages. Availability was already there. Now access is just official and streamlined.

Where Stadia isn't available at all is in Turkey or Cyprus, which makes the final language pack a little interesting. Update 4.26 adds support for Turkish alongside all Spanish updates.

Google Stadia defaults to a user's Google Account language. It's a simple workaround for players in regions around the world who want to use Stadia, but can't. You have just set up a Google Account in a supported language. In regions where it is not supported, a VPN was also a critical step - otherwise trying to connect would result in an error.

Even if you did all the tricks necessary to play Stadia, you still had to deal with latency issues. Distance to data centers is extremely important, especially when it comes to cloud streaming.

Hopefully the inclusion of these new languages means new data centers. And adding support for more countries is always good, regardless of the service.
