Haley Odlozil dies: The TikTok star who documented her battle with cancer to millions was 30

Haley Odlozil, who garnered millions of viewership while documenting her battle with breast cancer Stage IIIC ovary on TikTok, died at age 30.

Her husband, Taylor, announced his death on Instagram and Tiktok on Friday.

"It is with incredible sadness that I announce to you all that my sweet Haley has passed away" , he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple with their 4-year-old son, Weston. "I can't begin to describe the amount of grief and grief that myself and our whole family are going through. I didn't know that my heart could physically hurt me."

The cancer battle had been going on for eight years and had spread to other parts of the body before her death.

The couple documented their journey on TikTok, compiling more than 2.5 million followers between them .< /p>

Taylor posted every few days on her TikTok account, beginning each caption with the date, followed by " Haley is still fighting."

Friday had a different message.

"As a husband I have seen every moment. The happy & the sad. One thing I can tell you, she's been through a lot battling this disease that has slowly torn her body apart over the past 8 years,” he wrote alongside a video that received 2.1 million likes. That she is completely healed in a painless, scarless body in heaven makes me so incredibly happy for her, but so extremely sad that I'm not here to see it."

The couple had been together for 16 years, with Haley turning 30 in February.

In Friday's post, Taylor bade farewell to his wife.

"I love you Haley. More than I can put into words. Who are you part of I am and will never stop loving you. Can't wait to see you again," he wrote.

Taylor said he won't be posting on social media "for a while" in order to treat dead Haley with her son.
