Highland Park 4th of July Shooter Mug Shot released, fired 83 rounds into the crowd

The 21-year-old who is believed to be responsible for the deaths of 7 innocent people during the July 4 parade in Highland Park appears in court for the first time since the massacre.

The man, who has been charged with 7 counts of first degree murder, will answer those charges, although more are expected.

As we reported, those watching the parade on Monday were horrified when gunshots began to ring out. The shooter is believed to have fired more than 70 times, killing 6 people in the event...the 7th person died in hospital on Tuesday from his injuries.

The alleged shooter has a history of violent threats against others and himself...but a report says his father still allowed him to buy a semi-automatic weapon in 2020.
