A hilarious video of a kangaroo attacking the gates of the Russian Embassy in Australia has gone viral.

It appears Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has gained another ally in the ongoing conflict with Russia after the marsupial was caught trying to break into the building in Australia's capital of Canberra.

The images show the kangaroo jumping towards the doors, while it stops to analyze what is in front.

The animal can be seen kicking the doors several times before stopping for a short breath.

It seems that the grumpy kangaroo took out his anger on Russia following its invasion of Ukraine (

After struggling the first time, the muscular animal tries again to push through the holes.

However, he then admits defeat and quite comically jumps off.

The video, shared by journalist Bakhti Nishanov on Twitter, garnered hundreds of views.

He added the caption: "Apparently a kangaroo attacked the gates of the Russian Embassy in Australia.

"I guess now we know what the kangaroos' position is on the war."

And despite the creature's inability to get out of it, Internet users found the video funny.
