The internet is angry with Home Depot after reports it made a serious donation to Herschel Walker's U.S. Senate campaign — and while the company tells us that didn't happen, it's also clarifying where the wires crossed. p>
A Home Depot representative tells TMZ that the claims simply aren't true...stating, "The Home Depot PAC (Political Action Committee) has not donated to Walker's campaigns. or of (Raphael) Warnock."
We're told the corporate connection is likely because Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus donated to Walker's campaign. The company representative points out that Marcus left the company more than two decades ago, adding that "his views do not represent the company."
Netizens have called for a boycott of Home Depot following reports that the company has donated more than $1 million to Walker's campaign.
Representative says Home Depot is "working to correct misinformation online".
As we reported, the former NFL star and Senate candidate was coached on his 'pro-life' beliefs...in light of a woman who came forward and insisted about Walker getting her pregnant and paying for her to have an abortion in 2009.
