India: A man hunts a monkey with bricks

A monkey lunged at a man and knocked him to the ground in an apparent revenge attack after throwing rocks at his simian buddies.

Bizarre footage showed the man attacking the monkeys with a rock as they ran across the road.

The little primates were seen dodging and diving as the mystery man chased them through Utter Pradesh, India.

The man's actions annoyed one of the little monkeys who jumped to a ledge above a door and lunged at the man, knocking him to the ground.

Following the attack, he realized that his top had been torn by the creature as he walked away, while the monkey looked on.

The man seemed to get angry again, so he picked up another brick, aiming for the monkey, before apparently giving up.

A local source said, "The animal then fled the area after the attack."

Earlier this month, a man died after falling from the roof of his house in India, when he was attacked by a violent mob of mad monkeys.

The 52-year-old farmer tried to escape the troop of monkeys in India's Budaun district on Wednesday August 31.
