Watching the main character, an Indian woman who looked like her, kiss her white football coach, she had a vision of her own romantic future. As she felt the pressure of her family and culture to be with a Pakistani boy, the film paved the way for her attraction - white boys to, ultimately, "everything but brown men".

As Meher grew older, his thinking began to change. Today we share her story of how she found "the right one".
