Britons only have a few hours left to claim a free £200 cash to their bank account.

HSBC bank is currently offering those who switch to its Advance account £200 free money as a sign-up bonus.

However, the offer ends at 11.59pm tonight - so you'll need to act fast.

Eligible bankers will need to make the switch using the Current Account Switching Service (CASS).

Remember that you will need to start the switching process within 30 days of opening the HSBC account.

Customers must also set up two direct debits or standing orders and pay £1,500 within the first 60 days to ensure they receive the free money.

They should then receive the £200 within 20 days, meaning you could increase your household income by hundreds in the new year.

MoneySavingExpert founder Martin Lewis said in his latest newsletter that the UK is in a "sweet spot" with banking offers - and new users can get up to £200, the best offer since 2017.

Writing on MSE, the money guru explained that by simply moving your bank account to another provider, you could earn hundreds.
