“I remember photographing Kylie but not what I did this morning”

A famous photographer used his own archive to help preserve memories of the past and create future ones following a diagnosis of dementia.

Using his images as prompts, Jason Scott Tilley vividly remembers the details of covering local and international news, as well as capturing celebrities and travel to India to explore its Anglo-Saxon. -Indian heritage.

But he says he has trouble remembering what he did that morning.

At Christmas 2020, the 55-year-old suffered a series of mini-strokes, which impacted his short-term memory.
