I love staples that are understated yet chic – these finds from J.Crew are everything

There are a few essential qualities that all the basics in my wardrobe share. Each item is not only simple and understated but also chic. In my opinion, all thanks to modern silhouettes. And one retailer I turn to more and more for these parts happens to be J.Crew.

With Olympia Gayot (featured above) heading up womenswear and Brendon Babenzien designing menswear, J.Crew's latest collections get an A+ from me and my colleagues from the WWW. Many of my new favorite pieces are very versatile (meaning easy to style), edgy and current. Basically, these are finds that could go perfectly with the other basics in my wardrobe.
