It's almost time for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup in USA and West Indies.

England go into the tournament as defending champions after their success in Australia in 2022.

However, they find themselves in a wide-open competition, with a record number of teams ready to participate .

Here is a complete guide to the ninth edition of the global 20 over showpiece.

T20 World Cup Schedule and Start Date Men's 2024

The 2024 Men's T20 World Cup will begin on June 2 at 01:30 BST with hosts USA facing Canada in Texas.

< p class="ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10">Matches will also take place in the Caribbean, so there are night matches in the UK (12:30 a.m. or 1:30 a.m.), then in the afternoon (3:30 p.m. , 4:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.).

The initial 20-team group stage, which includes four groups of five, continues until June 18 with at least one match per day, but often two or three.

The Super 8s follow with two matches almost every day until June 25, before the two semi-finals on June 27.

The final will take place on Saturday June 29 at 3:30 p.m. BST in Barbados.
