Amazing Full Trailer of Korean War Movie "Hansan: Rising Dragon"

"A fortress on the sea? Unbelievable!" Damn! It really IS a fortress on the sea! Well Go has released the main trailer for Hansan: Rising Dragon, an epic Korean historical action movie that will hit theaters in July. In a week, it will be released in the United States. The film is a prequel to 2014's The Admiral: Roaring Currents. This new film depicts the Battle of Hansando, which took place five years before the Battle of Myeongnyang as seen in L 'Admiral, during the Japanese invasion of Korea from 1592 to 1598. As Korean forces came into crisis early in the war, the Admiral resorted to his secret weapon, head ships of dragons known as geobukseon, in order to change the course of this epic battle at sea. They look awful!! The cast includes Park Hae-il, Byun Yo-han, Ahn Seong-gi, Son Hyun-joo, Kim Sung-kyu, Kim Sung-kyun, Kim Hyang-gi, and Ok Taec-yeon. This is a jaw-dropping trailer for epic action fans! Barely 90 seconds and it's heartbreaking: Incredible footage of the battle on the sea, with the fortress wiping out nearly everyone.

A prequel to The Admiral: Roaring Currents, the most-watched film in Korean cinema history, Hansan: Rising Dragon depicts the historic battle of Hansando. In 1592, Admiral Yi Sun-sin and his fleet confront the might of the invading Japanese Navy and its fearsome warships. As Korean forces come into crisis, the Admiral uses his secret weapon, the dragon-headed ships known as geobukseon, to turn the tide of this epic battle at sea. Hansan: Rising Dragon, also known as Hansan: Yongui Chulhyeon, is directed by Korean filmmaker Han-min Kim, director of the Paradise Murdered, Handphone, War of the Arrows and The Admiral: Roaring Currents previously. No screenwriter credit is available yet. The film first opens in South Korea from July 27, 2022, soon. Well Go USA will also debut Hansan: Rising Dragon in select US theaters starting July 29, 2022 this summer. Who's in?
