The Test World Championship finals will take place June 7-11 - a week before the Australia take on England in the Ashes Test opener at Edgbaston.

India currently lead the series of four Tests 2-1 after big wins in the first two games.

Australia dominated the third Test after beating India for 109 on the opening day, eventually establishing an 88-run lead in the first inning.

Off-spinner Nathan Lyon then took 8-64 in the second set to leave a comfortable chase for his team.

"It was a complete performance at the end," said Steve Smith, who was captain from Australia with Pat Cummins in Australia with his sick mother.

"We are really proud to get a place in the final but for us it's just about really play good cricket.
