Easter is expected to be bittersweet for the Royal Family this year - for more than one reason.

The Holy Weekend is the first since the death of the late Queen, who was known to treasure this time of year, spending it with her family in Windsor.

But not only that, this year Easter Sunday marks the second anniversary of the death of her devoted husband, Prince Philip.

As always, the Royals, including King Charles and Camilla, are all expected to gather in Windsor for the holiday weekend to enjoy some family time and no doubt share their fond memories of the deceased couple.

But now that Charles is in charge of the cabinet, will there be any changes to their traditional celebrations? Here we take a look...

The tradition of Good Friday

Good Friday always marks the start of the long Easter weekend and the start of royal traditions.

And their Good Friday custom, like many others, is to eat hot rolls and a delicious fish dinner to mark the day.

Former Royal Chief Darren McGrady said OK! :"Easter Court was lively and bustling when the whole family came to Windsor around this time.
